Llafranc
Llafranc is one of three beaches which belong to the town of Palafrugell. It is famous among the local residents in Catalunya as well as the French locals. It has original qualities which compare with an authentic French Riviera beach.
Tamariu
The bay of Tamariu is a lovely compact beach with fine (soft) sand. This beach is perfect for children and has a boulevard where you can find some good restaurants with outside terraces. This beach is perfect for children.
Fornells
Fornells is a very small fishing harbour with a tiny beach near Aiguablava. You can reach the beach via a small path which you can find left from the harbour. To the right of the harbour is another small beach which is made from flat stones.
Aiguablava
Aiguablava is probably the most beautiful of all beaches around Begur, with cristal clear water and white sand. It is well known as the town with the Parador, a 4-star hotel – restaurant at the top of the bay.
Sa Tuna
Sa Tuna is one of the smallest beaches in Begur covered with small pebbles and sand. There are two excellent restaurants that both specialise in fish, as Sa Tuna is a beautiful small fishing village.
Sa Riera
Sa Riera Beach is the one of the largest beaches in Begur, however with a length of 300 meters it still does not qualify as a large beach. There are showers, a first aid post, toilets and a diving school.
Illa Roja
This exquisite and beautiful beach is hidden between Sa Riera and Playa de Pals. It is only accessible by foot and it is mostly used as a nudist beach. The beach was named after the magnificent giant rock.
